WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept many insurance plans. While verifying benefits is not a guarantee of coverage, we take the time to help you understand how your specific plan applies in our office. We have affordable fee for patients who are uninsured or underinsured, and many choose to pay directly for their care. Dr. Wehrspan focuses on helping patients feel better as efficiently as possible and does not recommend unnecessary visits. WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT?

We believe patients deserve the time and attention needed to achieve real results. Your first visit includes a thorough history and examination focused on understanding your concerns and goals. Imaging such as x-rays is not routine but will be discussed with you when clinically necessary. In most cases, a diagnosis can be made during the exam. Treatment is tailored to each individual, and we make sure you understand both your condition and your treatment options. Most patients are treated on the first visit and at times leave feeling better than when they arrived.

DO I HAVE TO HAVE MY NECK "CRACKED"?

Absolutely not. Many patients benefit from approaches other than traditional neck manipulation. We generally use alternative methods of neck alignment that are conservative, gentle, and often more effective. Our goal is to help you see results using techniques you are comfortable with, and that starts by listening carefully to your individual needs and preferences.

WILL I HAVE TO COME IN FOREVER?

No. Our goal is to help you improve and become more independent, not to keep you coming in unnecessarily. After your exam and diagnosis, we typically begin with a short trial of individualized care. Most patients see improvement within 1 to 6 visits. We carefully track your progress to ensure pain is decreasing and function is improving. If progress stalls, we work to find answers, which may include additional testing or referral to another provider. As you improve, we introduce home-based strategies so you can manage your condition confidently on your own.

DO I NEED A DOCTOR'S REFERRAL?

No referral is required. Even so, Dr. Wehrspan will collaborate with your primary care physician or other specialists when necessary. We believe the best care comes from working together to support your health.
